Romans 12:1-2(NKJV)

1)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.  2) And do not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.

The Characteristics of our commitment.

  1. Our commitment to Christ is conscious.
  2. Our commitment is complete.
  3. Our commitment is costly.
  4. Our commitment is constructive.
  5. Our commitment is a service of worship.
  6. Our commitment is reasonable.

The Conditions of our Commitment

  1. The Christian is not to be conformed to this world.
  2. The Christian is to be transformed by the word of God.

The Consequences of Commitment

  1. We will know the will of God.
  2. We will do the will of God.
  3. We will enjoy the will of God
