B. Relating to the Dominate Personality.

1. If you are going to relate effectively with “D” personalities, you’ve got to realize that confrontation may be necessary to get their attention.
2. And once you get the attention of a “D”, focus on how their actions affect you.
3. The next step is to get to the bottom line quickly.
4. Give them time to cool down and reflect on your ideas. After you’ve given time for cooling down and reflecting, reaffirm their value.
