Some Things I’ve Learned By Experience

Genesis 30:27

Genesis 30:22-27

²² And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. ²³ And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: ²⁴ and she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son.

²⁵ And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. ²⁶ Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.

²⁷ And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.

Genesis 30:27 NIV

But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay. I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you.”

Genesis 30:27 AMP

²⁷ But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your sight, stay with me; for I have learned [from the omens in divination and by experience]  that the Lord has blessed me because of you.”

Things Experience has Taught Me

1. I am Blessed by God because of Christ

2. I sleep better when I pray for my enemies.

3. The Reality of Eccl 12 

4. Real Christians affect the world around them.

5. Without him I can do nothing 

6. Life is passing

7. On every pew there is a broken heart

8. Worry is wrong.

9. Man’s greatest need is Jesus.

10. The folly of the wrath of man.

11. Peril of pride

12. Vanity of self vindication.
