Easter 2025
1Corinthians 15:1-8

1 Corinthians 15:1-8
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: after that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Luke 1:1 ESV
Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us.

Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us,

Luke 1:2 NLT
They used the eyewitness reports circulating

among us from the early disciples.

Luke 1:3-4
Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write an accurate account for you, most honorable Theophilus, 4 so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.

Luke 1:3 ESV
HAVING FOLLOWED ALL THINGS CLOSELY

for some time past, to write an orderly account for

you, most excellent Theophilus,

Luke 1:3-4 KJV
it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things

from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,

that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.

Acts 1:1-3
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

to whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs,

being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Acts 4:10
10  Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead,

Acts 10:40-41
40 him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly,

who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Acts 13:29-31
29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulcher. 30 But God raised him from the dead:

31 and he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

Acts 17:30
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men everywhere to repent:

31 because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in

righteousness BY THAT MAN whom he hath ordained;

whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, IN THAT HE HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.
