All Things New

Salvation is not another self-help program.

Revelation 21:4-5
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”  He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”

New or Improved?

2 Corinthians 5:17 TLB
When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside.  He is not the same anymore.  A new life has begun!

  • Changing  Outside In.

Or

  • Changing Inside Out.

Or

  • Doing Something Different.

Or

  • Being Someone Different.

  • Improving the Old You.

Or

  • Becoming a New You.

New Faith

Hebrews 10:16-18
“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord.  I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”  Then he adds:  “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”  And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.

Hebrews 10:19-25
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Joshua 1:8
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful.

You word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

  1. Am I SERVING faithfully?

1 Peter 4:10
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

  1. Am I CONNECTING regularly?

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
